Black Friday!

I've never been the one to go and wait in a line for a store to open ever! I just thought it was crazy! This year my husband and I decided to go to Outrageous Audio and stand out there to wait for the store to open. We got their around 3am while the store was suppose to open at 5am. The store is pretty small, so they were letting a few people in at a time. We didn't get in til 6ish...it wasn't as bad I thought it would be, but we did get some stuff. Our main reason for waiting in line was to get deals on a new music system for the hubby for the fourth of regular price. I also scored a new cd player for my car. We also got two freebies...a sub and a car alarm system. After that we decided to hit up Walmart since we were already awake. I can tell you that I basically finished all my Christmas shopping at Walmart. We then came home and I wrapped all the presents and the husband was busy installing his new system. Yup, that was my day. I hope you guys scored on some awesome deals!

I'm so thankful for so many things. I love life right now...everything is running smooth. I have a wonderful family and extended family. My husband is amazing. I'm grateful to have such positive and supportive people around me. Turkey day is here! I hope everyone has a great one. Eat lots of turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie! I know I will! This year I'm going to my husband's side of the family for dinner on Thanksgiving day and this coming Saturday I will be with my family celebrating Thanksgiving since most work on Thursday, so two turkey feasts! Alright, everyone be safe! Tell your family you love them! Oh, is anyone excited for BLACK FRIDAY?

MARRIED!

Shane and I got married today! We had a small ceremony at our church and a few of our close friends and family members attended. We decided to keep it small and wait til next year in 2011 to have a bigger wedding. It feels so surreal that I'm a married woman! I feel so blessed to have met someone like Shane and get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend =) It sounds so cliche, but it's so true. We didn't get many photos, but here are a few.

Hey guys! Sorry for being such a slacker >.< lol. I've been super busy with school and the term is almost over, so I've been focusing on school like hardcore. So many things has happened and I shall update later. I just wanted to post a blog and let you all know I'm still alive =] haha. Anyway, I just changed my layout and cleared my page count. Starting from zero. I don't know why I did that, but I did lol. Well, I gotta hit the shower!

My Easter

I just got back from class not long ago and I'm a tired mofo >.< Anyway, how was everyone's Easter? Mine was a pretty relaxing one. I woke up next to my wonderful boyfriend =] We then watched the General Conference on Public Access for about the whole afternoon. We were invited to go over to Keith's house for Easter dinner, but then Shane's mom also had planned to make us dinner. So we ate Shane's mom cooking and then went over to Keith's for dessert. Yup, that's pretty much it. Well, there's more that happened but that is for a future blog because I don't want to spoil the surprise and exciting news. Besides, I don't want to get too overworked about it and then it doesn't happen. Get my drift? 

I gotta shower and get ready for work now.

Happy April Fool's Day & Update!

I've been doing a horrible job on coming here and blogging. I've just been really busy. Spring term just started and I'm not quite adjusted to it yet, and I also went on an interview today. Technically, the interview was yesterday because it's 2:41am right now. Why am I up so late? I was "trying" (facebooking, creating my to-do list, and watching youtube videos) to write my psychology paper. I pretty much didn't even start anything =[ I like my psych class so far except the 4 assignments assigned the first day. I have another class on Saturday on computer technology, so lets see how that goes. Oh yea! I interviewed to be a Pretty&Cute Staff Member. I think it went well because I was there for about one and a half hours. Talk about the longest interview I've ever been on. I met the owner Janie, she is such a doll. I'm going in later today at 5pm to train a little and get a feel on my duties on the team and so she can see if I have good work ethic. I hope she hires me on. I just remembered! I need to think of an April Fool's prank to pull on the boyfriend lol. Anyway, it's getting pretty late and I need all my rest to wake up bright and early to really start my paper. I hope you all have a fun and safe April Fool's Day. Wish me luck for the job!

Disco Brites Nail Varnish Review

I've been hearing a lot about the L.A. Girls Disco Brites Nail Varnish, but I haven't had the time to run out and get my hands on any at the moment. I went to visit my parents over the past weekend, and Kanhnha(my cousin) lives with them. I was looking through her makeup and my eye landed on a Disco Brites Varnish in Vinyl Record! I had to try it because everyone is raving about it. So here it is!

Shane's 23rd Birthday!

First Time Using Fireplace in Our Apartment

It's a little weird making a fire when it's almost spring right? Well, some days are still pretty cold here in Washington. Shane(the boyfriend) and I bought some firewood, so we had to use it before spring came around. It took quite awhile to get the fire going. When we did get it going, we sat in front of the fire with some green tea ice cream. It was so romantic. Pictures below:

Bee & Flower Soap Review

I was out shopping one day, and I came across the Bee & Flower Soaps. I remember growing up my parents would buy these and I loved the smell! I don't even know why my parents stopped buying them. I've been using Dove Soap for a few years now and I prefer Dove over any other American brands. Anyway, back to the Bee & Flower Soaps! I just bought two to give it a try again. Here they are:

The honey and I had a feast today! Thanks to my amazing cooking skills। Not to be boasting or anything, but I'm a darn great cook! I'm just lazy to do it at times. For some reason...I've been in the cooking mood. I'm also showing my boyfriend that I'm a great housewife to keep around lol jk. He loves me no matter what. My cooking skills is just an added bonus that comes with me =] Okay...talk about cockiness haha!

Anyway...I made egg fried rice, chicken teriyaki, steamed/stir fried vegetables, and white rice. I made a little too much, but that's okay because Shane took the left overs for lunch the next day. Oh! See the sake and mirin(sweet rice wine)? It was my first time cooking with alcohol. Everything tasted amazing =]

2XL Headphones

I was in need of new headphones because the boyfriend just threw out some old ones we had laying around. He goes to sleep early for work and I stay up late working til about 1-2am in the morning sometimes. I usually like to listen to some tunes on di.fm, but I have to be quiet. That's where the headphones come in! Hehe...yea he bought me new ones. They aren't pretty, but they sure do work wonders!

Palty Hair Bleach Super Flash Sparkling Blonde Review

Yay! I finally got to try Palty Hair Bleach. I haven't colored my hair in months! I know its not good to dye my hair often, but its kind of addicting. Even though it's easier to take care of black hair, I just get too bored with the dull color of black. Here are some pics of the step-by-step process on how I bleached my hair.
*Note: The instructions are all in Japanese. If you google the instructions for Palty Hair Dye you can find instructions in english!

How to De-pot Urban Decay Primer Potion

Alright guys! I'm going to show you through a photo tutorial on how to get your $$$ work by depotting your Urban Decay Primer Potion. When you use the wand to get the product out it doesn't seem like a lot is coming out, but in actuality there is more product than you really think there is. Here we go!

Basic Tools:

• Urban Decay Primer Potion
• Sharp kitchen knife
• Cutting board or thick cloth
• Q-tip or mini spatutla
• Airtight container

Visited My Parents

I haven't seen my parents in a couple weeks, so I decided to go over there. Shane also fixed their old computer and upgraded to Vista for them. My dad wanted to play with photoshop, and Shane put it on their computer. Being away from my parents makes me miss them more than when I was living with them. I know, kind of a sad thing right? But my relationship with my parents has been better and we're more closer than ever. Whenever I go over, I try to eat lots and lots of Khmer food lol. I can cook Khmer food at home, but it's not as good as my parents cooking. Before we left I snapped a quick photo of them. Aren't they cute? लोल

OMG...I love them! They are so adorable =] They don't have a desk in their room, so they made their own desk with those old furniture lol. GHETTO!

New LCD Screen

Shane has been wanting a new computer screen for awhile now and we just got it today! I love it..everything looks awesome on it. My eyes kind of hurt because the light is so bright, but I'm sure he'll get use to it because he uses it more than I do. I'll just stick to using my laptop. He says he'll give the screen to me when he gets a new one lol. I guess he wants bigger, eventhough I think 23" is already huge!

One Year Anniversary!

Yay! Today marks my one year with Shane! We are doing absolutely well and happy as can be! I'm falling in love with him more and more each day. He pretty much completes me and make me feel things I never knew I could feel for someone. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I love you babe!

Sephora!

I just found this Sephora palette below, and I decided to do some swatches! I've had it forever and used it before, but lost the palette along with all the clutter I have. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion to try and get the best of the color when I swatched it. So here it is:

I am 20 today!

Yay! I've made it to 20 years! My boyfriend and my parents had a little surprise party for me. I had a bunch of pizza and ice cream cake. That's the only cake I absolutely love because I don't really like frosting, its too sweet. I didn't know there was going to be a party, so I didn't bring my camera. That's why there is no pics =[ And my parents camera was broken. Pooey! When I turn 21, I'm gonna carry a camera with me and be ready! lol Thanks to all of you who wished me a happy birthday. This year was not as exciting as last year, but I had fun. The boyfriend and I babysat my aunt's kids while she went out with her hubby for New Years. Last year the boyfriend and I went to a rave. We were just getting to know each other then. We weren't dating yet.
